The therapist shall repeat the technique and with every repetition achieving a greater range of movement of the muscle in question. MET is used to treat muscular dysfunction, improve range of motion, and reduce pain .


Soft tissue release 

Soft tissue release (STR) is a manual therapy technique that uses pressure and stretching (pin and stretch) to treat muscle, ligament, and tendon issues. It can help with pain, restricted movement, and injuries. The therapist shall manually place the muscle in a contracted shortened position. The therapist then shall add pressure (pin) to a particular location of the muscle and then manually place the muscle in a lengthened stretched position with the pin being maintained.
